US stock futures gained on Monday, kicking off a holiday-shortened week with markets closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving and ending early on Friday. After the market closed on Friday, President-elect Donald Trump indicated his intention to nominate Scott Bessent, founder of Key Square Group, as Treasury Secretary.
